Peter Simon and Steven Cagnetta Join Board
Barrett Technology Introduced the New WAM arm at the International Robot Exhibition (IRE2005) in Tokyo to a record crowd. According to Barrett CEO Bill Townsend, "Barrett began its product business in Asia and has always done well here. But the reaction this year is truly stunning."
Mr. Simon is President of Simon Management Group (SMG), with offices in Boston and Austin. Before founding SMG in 1989, Peter worked five years as a consultant and manager at Bain & Company in Boston and London and six years as a senior manager in technology firms.
At Lotus Development Corporation, Peter served as General Manager of Business Applications during the Lotus 1-2-3 era; and at Banyan Systems, he was Vice President of Marketing. Peter earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University.
While we have commissioned SMG in the past to assess new product markets, we are excited to have his seasoned expertise to provide continuing guidance at the Board level.
